The successful candidate will be assigned to work in acute care healthcare facilities.

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Hours of Work: 

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 45 hours per month
  • Shifts are eight (8) hours in length, depending on facility placement needs
  • Must be able to be scheduled for assignments that are considered "urgent/last minute/early morning" (e.g. called for assignments within 2 hours or from start of shift)
  • Day shifts, including statutory holidays   


  • Bachelor of Arts or comparable post-secondary degree
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in health care
  • Accurate minimum typing speed of 35 w.p.m
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience dealing with the public in a fast paced environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage confidential information in a sensitive and professional manner
  • Provide secretarial support to the Manager
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail for the department
  • Provide administrative support for committees
  • Maintain on-line Corporate Policy Manual and Medical Directives
  • Develop reports as required
