The successful candidate will be assigned to work in acute care healthcare facilities.

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Hours of Work: 

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 45 hours per month which includes two (2) shifts on a weekend 
  • A “weekend” is defined as shifts covering the period from 1500 hours on Friday to 0730 hours on Monday
  • Shifts are eight (8) and twelve (12) hours in length, depending on Facility Placement needs
  • Must be able to be scheduled for assignments that are considered “urgent/last minute/early morning” (e.g. called for assignments within 2 hours or from start of shift)
  • Flexible to work all shifts (Days, Evenings and Nights), including statutory holidays 

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Accurate typing 35 wpm
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and take initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, organized and flexible

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect and organize data, electronically or physically review and resolve discrepancies
  • Review all patient’s information and track down information where available
  • Participate in regular quality assurance activities
  • Retrieving and delivering patient charts
