Patient care extends beyond administering medicines and monitoring vitals. The unit aide has an important role within the healthcare team by contributing to the efficient operations of the clinical unit/area through ordering, stocking and maintaining all supplies and equipment required to meet the needs of our patients. Under the direction and supervision of the nurse, you provide direct and indirect support for patient care – from assisting with record intake and output to disinfecting equipment and assisting with patient baths. Our unit aides chose this role because they have a keen interest in healthcare and are committed to putting patient safety first.

Experience & Certification
Previous employment experience in an acute care facility is preferred. We provide required training to meet the needs of the facility in which you will be working in.
